CSA
Question & Answer

Can I join for 2010?

We have reached our 400 member maximum for 2010! As we finalize the processing of payments, there might occasionally be someone who changes their mind so please email us today to be on the waiting list so you might grab a spot if one becomes available!

PLEASE DO NOT fill out the online application as all we need from you is your email to add you to the waiting list.

How much does it cost?

For 2010, the cost is $500 or $350 for the respective credit on the account, to be used (or debited) at your own pace throughout the 20+-week season. A switch to a post-season discount is our way of avoiding share or product price increases as well as working with the unpredictability of fall weather and crops. Once the $500 or $350 on the account is spent (or the debiting season ends on October 2nd), you will receive a 20% discount on all purchases (higher than last season's discount).

What is the debit system?

Your account credit is debited each time you come and pickup produce. Just like shopping, but you've already paid. You can skip weeks or come more than once a week if you like. If you share, you don't have to come as a pair - you can each shop and debit the account separately (or you can both come and enjoy the market together). Your discount comes at the end and on specials throughout the season. If you use up your credit before we end the season, your 20% discount kicks in immediately. Sorry, but there is no refund for unused credit at the end of the season. But you've supported a local family farm too which is the goal of CSA's.

Do you deliver?

Sorry, no. We are not equipped for it nor do we have the employees to provide that kind of service.

Do you bag my stuff for me?

No. We allow the members to select and bag their own produce so they can take what they want and pass on what they don't. We encourage you to bring cloth bags or baskets and we now offer our own tote bags (and t-shirts too)!

Do I have to volunteer or work for this CSA like some require?

No, but we'd love it if you would! We welcome volunteers for market days or special projects, but no work or volunteer hours are required to be a member. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer (member or non-member) and in receiving the generous volunteer discount, please email us at victoryfarms@comcast.net today!

If I'm a member, can someone else pickup for me?

Absolutely! Just have them use your name (or the name on the account if you're sharing) when they checkout. Very simple!

What if I'm gone unexpectedly or for a vacation?

No problem at all - you don't miss out on anything as your account balance holds steady until you use it again. You don't even have to tell us if you're coming or not or which market you are coming to either. We specialize in flexibility!
